Our counseling services at John Tuck seek to meet a full range of academic and social/emotional needs through different approaches, including but not limited to: whole group SEL lessons, small group SEL lessons and individual SEL coaching. We also serve as connectors; helping students and families access resources within the school and community.
I moved to Central Oregon in August of 2022 and love being here. I enjoy hiking, traveling and spending time with friends and family. I am so grateful to be a part of the John Tuck family!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years of professional counseling experience and I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, both from Idaho State University.. Prior to being a counselor, I was an elementary teacher. I believe every child is created for connection and believe that healing and growth take place in the framework of relationships. Being the school counselor at John Tuck allows for plenty of opportunities to build relationships with students and families, which is why I love my job!
