When does school start? Early Release Wednesdays!
All elementary school days begin at 8:55 AM and end at 3:35 PM, with the exception of Early Release Wednesdays: students will be released at 2:35 PM. John Tuck grounds are open and supervised, starting at 8:40.
When Does Breakfast Start?
Breakfast is available for students starting at 8:40 AM.
When is lunch?
All grade levels at John Tuck have lunch schedules that involve eating and recess times that follows. Grade level lunch times are staggered to accommodate for space. The time slots are as follows:

If my student is absent, do I need to tell someone at the school?
If your student will be absent from school for any reason a phone call on the date of the absence is much appreciated. All absences are marked as ‘unexcused’ unless we have been notified by a parent of the reason for the absence.
How do I get a message to my child during the school day?
In order to maximize learning time in the classroom, we limit direct interruptions to the classrooms. Please contact the school office at 923-4884 with any messages for you child and the office staff will get the message to your child’s teacher during an appropriate time.
Is there anything I need to do to arrange volunteering in my child’s classroom?
Yes, in the Redmond School District, we require every volunteer to have pass a background screening check. Applications and forms are available in the office or online. The screening is free to parents. After the screening has cleared, parents are able to set up volunteer times with individual teachers
Does Redmond School district Provide Student Accident Insurance?
REDMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT DOES NOT PROVIDE STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE. However, you may purchase this coverage for school accidents through a special program offered to the district. Visit the district’s student insurance page for more details.
